Biographie / Biography
Her story
Sarah hails from Rouen, in Normandy. The beauty of this region — the birthplace of Impressionism — together with the art of her grandfather, a painter and sculptor, infused her childhood with a strong artistic vitality. From an early age, her passion for photography and writing was nurtured by walking in the footsteps of these artists.
For Sarah, photography is more than a medium: it is a way to humbly express gratitude and respect for our fragile and beautiful planet, our oceans, our heritage, and our history.
Through her reports and investigations, she enjoys telling the story of a place, capturing its essence, and honoring its legacy. Her travel, cultural, and gastronomy photo essays have been published internationally, including in BonjourParisand France Today.
Son histoire
Sarah est originaire de Rouen, en Normandie. La beauté de cette région – berceau de l’Impressionnisme – ainsi que l’art de son grand-père, peintre et sculpteur, ont imprégné son enfance d’une intense vitalité artistique. Dès son plus jeune âge, sa passion pour la photographie et l’écriture s’est nourrie de ces influences, dans les pas laissés par les artistes.
Pour Sarah, la photographie est bien plus qu’un médium : c’est une manière d’exprimer avec humilité sa gratitude et son respect envers notre planète fragile et magnifique, nos océans, notre patrimoine et notre histoire.
À travers ses reportages et ses enquêtes, elle aime raconter l’histoire d’un lieu, en capter l’essence et en honorer l’héritage. Ses reportages photographiques et articles sur le voyage, la culture et la gastronomie ont été publiés à l’international, notamment dans BonjourParis et France Today.

Biography
Sarah completed training at the CFPJ School of Journalism (Centre for Training and Development of Journalists) in Paris to develop her expertise in written storytelling.
She also pursued a Bachelor’s degree in English and American literature at the Sorbonne University.
Sarah had the opportunity to hone her skills in visual and written storytelling through trainings with a cultural association dedicated to expatriates.
She lived in the United-States for 3 years.

BIOGRAPHIE
Sarah a suivi des formations à l’école de journalisme CFPJ (Centre de Formation et de Perfectionnement des Journalistes) à Paris, pour développer son expertise en narration écrite (« storytelling »).
Titulaire d’une licence en littérature anglaise et américaine de l’Université de la Sorbonne, elle a également eu l’opportunité de perfectionner ses techniques de narration visuelle et écrite à travers des formations au sein d’une association culturelle dédiée aux expatriés.
Elle a vécu aux États-Unis pendant trois ans.

Sarah's Photographic Approach
From an early age, Impressionism has had a profound influence on her photos. Claude Monet has always been her source of inspiration. Growing up in Normandy, Sarah has been captivated by the intimate connection between light and the environment. Nature is essential to her, and she believes it connects us to our own resilience.
When she photographs, she explores how light weaves its magic to magnify precious moments, reveal the fragile beauty of a place, tell its story, and sometimes whisper its secrets.
Playing and writing with light and its reflections are at the heart of Sarah's work. It allows her to express her personal journey and her gratitude towards life and all the colorful emotions that punctuate our experiences.
Photography has taught her its power to capture, in a split second, all these fleeting moments and freeze them forever in our memories. Its ability to soothe our sorrows and heal us. Its power to sprinkle our lives with magic and open a window into our imagination. Its capacity to cherish the essential moments of our lives. Every day, photography celebrates this burst of life with her.
The color palettes Sarah uses in her work allow her to express her emotions and stimulate her sensitivity. Poetry is a constant source of creativity for her, inspiring her visual storytelling.

L'approche photographique de Sarah
Dès son plus jeune âge, l'impressionnisme a exercé une influence profonde sur ses photos. Claude Monet a toujours été sa source d'inspiration. Ayant grandi en Normandie, Sarah a été captivée par le lien intime entre la lumière et l'environnement. La nature est essentielle pour elle, et elle croit qu'elle nous connecte à notre propre résilience.
